Burnt Banana Sandwich's New Intro
We made a new intro with Adobe After Effects CS6! In addition to a few side projects that we've been working on (a comedy western and some goodies from Porpoisemonkey), we'll be uploading and linking to this blog a lot more films now that we are back in a film making class.So please be on the look out! Please. I'm begging you.

About that Bet Between Me and Porpoisemonkey
Anglerbe already commented on this earlier in the month, but his post was a bit vague, so I wanted to reinforce the results. I realize that the contest/ bet thing that was established between me and Porpoisemonkey in early June was supposed to be concluded at the end of August, and it actually was, but I procrastinated on making an announcement about until this point. What? Of course I didn't- yeah I lost. Oh well, five dollars down the drain on that one. Based on his faulty devotion to that "Fallout: New Vegas" let's play that we constantly jest about, I actually didn't think he would be able to press on after the first hundred, but regardless of whether or not he was enthusiastic about it, he actually did watch to completion all 250 agreed films, and two television series. Evidently he hasn't posted all of the descriptions to this blog yet, but worry not, I'll keep pestering him until that changes. Until then, have a nice day, or night, or life!

Update 9/7/2013
This one's going to be fairly short and sweet. Because more peoples than just Burnt Banana Sandwich will be posting videos linked to Filmed2Death (including Porpoisemonkey's TerryGoRound), we have decided to change the name of the Burnt Banana Sandwich channel to "Filmed2Death". That's about it... Oh, Porpoisemonkey won that contest thing by the way, but he refuses to disclose his total movie count as of currently.

Summer Movie list Week 5, 6, and 7
Sorry I have been late but I made up for it at least!
Week 5
Monday:
Platoon
I have already seen this movie and i felt like it was a pretty good movie but it was less of a movie and more of a compilation of events using the same characters.
Rambo
The bloody reamake of the classic was not at par to the original and needlesly violent.
National Lampoon's Vacation
This movie is a classic i have alway loved it...
Tuesday:
Pretty in pink
It was a great movie... I really like John hughes movies... It was the first of the two movies on the road trip from California to VEGAS BABY!!!1
Moonrise Kingdom
Another great movie that i saw on the trip... Both movies my aunt had bought me for my early birthday present...
White House Down
It seems like you have to compare this to olympus has fallen and story-wise i would call this the watered down version... But i liked it better only because i loved Jaime Fox and Channing Tatum in this movie... They made a perfect team...
Wednesday:
The Road
The road from Vegas to Utah consisted of 2 of which i had already seen and made my favorite. This is one of them... I love this movie... It has a dark feel but you can't tell what's really going on with surprises like cannibals and glimpses of children...
Music Within
Another one of my favorites... a mvoie which i was proud to say was one of my favorites for awhile...
City Island
A funny movie but still a very weird one...

My Date with Drew...
A masterful documentary with a great premise
The Big Lebowski
I have always loved this movie... Its one of my favorites I mean if you don't like this movie... "well that's just like your opinion man..."
Friday:
The princess and the frog:
I didn't think it was great compared to the great pixar movies and the other great disney classics...
Knocked up
A sensationally funny movie... but still a little raunchy for my taste...
Oceans 11
A great movie starring all the members of the rat pack... I really enjoyed it... It always helps to watch these movies while you pick a favorite... I picked Dean Martin... I mean I love Dean-o... I think that if you have someone to enjoy it makes the movie better.

Another movie where picking favorites makes it more worthwhile.... I picked Dolph Lundgren (Which was hard to do in the original...)

Monday:
The Lone Ranger
The comedy was a little too much but i have no idea why everybody is calling this a horrible movie... I thought it was pretty good!
Lockout
This is a Die-hard style sci-fi movie that i really enjoyed...
Serenity
I didn't really like this movie... It had a bad vibe and it didn't really click and make a good story...
Tuesday:
Hamburger Hill
A great vietnam movie... I thought it was a little heavy on the black badass characters...
The 40 year old virgin
A great comedy movie... Probably one of my favorites... "Virgin isn't a bad word but you know what is? Asshole! Cause that's what you are!"
Wednesday:
Battle Royale 2
I was told this movie is awful... but i found out that it is a pretty good sequel its just that things don't work out like they did in the original but they use the same mechanics and it makes the movie a little awkward...
Thursday:
Diary of the Dead
I always thought this was a pretty good zombie movie... certainly better than world war z...
The Eye
Its an okay horror movie... I don't love it though...
Battle: Los Angeles
This movie in Blu-ray is gorgeous...
Friday:
Confessions of a dangerous mind
Don't make the mistake i did and watch it thinking that it is a true story... It isn't interpreted to be true its just a story most likely...
National Security
I really liked this movie... It made for a good time... I have always liked martin laurence...

Clay Pidgeons
I think that this movie was interesting... not nessicarily good but entertaining...
Going the Distance
I thought that this movie was a really funny one... I have always liked Charlie Day... Even though he didn't play the main character it was still great to see him in something rather than its always sunny in philadelphia...
Superbad
Another one of my favorite comedy movies... I seem to really like the apatow ones...

You don't have to smoke weed to think this movie is a great movie... I think it's a classic and i don't smoke weed.
Super High me
I didn't like it because it was a biased documentary...

A pretty racy movie for a movie from the 60's but i really liked it... It may go on the favorites list...

A very funny movie but what a weird ending... Who falls in love with their brother?
